Ham Chau Medium Grain Rice is a soft variety of medium grain rice grown in Vietnam

Cooking Direction:

  • Rinsing rice a few changes before soaking it in about 15 minuters.
  • Using 1 cup of rice and 1.5 cup of water and adding 0.1 cup of oil and a little of salt for cooking.
  • When the wait become to a boil, stir in the rice, salt, oil and bring it back to a gentle simmer.
  • Cover the pot and turn the heat down to low. Do not take off the lid while the rice is cooking – this lets the steam out and effect the cooking time.
